Description
Gait and posture disorders due to weak areas of the body, muscle imbalances, or prolonged chronic pain unbalance movement, which can lead to more serious health problems or injuries.
The ZEBRIS foot pressure measurement platform allows for computer-based gait or posture testing and has been successfully helping doctors, therapists, and orthopedists diagnose and treat movement problems for many years. It is based on an innovative methodology based on biomechanical testing and diagnostics, aiming to analyze gait technique and style in detail, and to record changes that may cause pain or contribute to various injuries.
Automated and easy-to-use software guarantees extremely fast examination and report preparation. With one click of the mouse button, the examination results are visible on the computer screen and can be printed immediately. During the examination, individual movement performance parameters are obtained. Based on them, the physiotherapist assesses the distribution of force, step parameters (there is also the possibility of measuring muscle activity) and provides recommendations on how to strengthen weak areas of the body to improve movement.
Indications:
- Analysis of normal or pathological gait and posture
- Diagnostics for improper foot position
- Treatment of incorrect posture and gait
- Rehabilitation after injuries, accidents or surgeries
- Assistance in the development, adjustment and testing of orthopedic devices
- Balance analysis and balance training
- Gait training combined with dynamic visual stimulation after stroke, Parkinson's disease and other neurological and orthopedic disorders
