The PARI BOY PRO medical inhaler is intended for use by adults and children from 4 years of age. Compact, stylish and extremely powerful, it offers high performance and highly effective treatment. This model is supplied with the durable Pari Sprint medication nozzle, with blue and red tips for different droplet sizes, and PIF control for more efficient absorption.

What is PIF management?

The Pari LC Sprint is equipped with a PIF control system (PIF = Peak Inspiratory Flow). The PIF helps to control the inhalation of medicines. By relaxing and inhaling evenly, more of the medicine gets to the right place in the lungs.If you inhale too quickly, you will notice a slight resistance – a sign to relax your breathing a little and not inhale so hard. If you don’t feel any resistance, you are inhaling correctly and you can be sure that your medication is getting to the lower airways.Because the PIF control system allows the patient to inhale more of the prescribed medication and less of it is wasted on exhalation, it greatly improves the effectiveness of the therapy and results in a quicker treatment. If an antibiotic is to be nebulized, the Sprint system can be used with a face mask or mouthpiece by simply adding a Pari filter valve kit.

Maintenance of the device

When using the PARI BOY inhaler, the accessories of the device are in direct contact with the patient. Therefore, thorough and regular cleaning of the compressor, injector and accessories is highly recommended. Please refer to the instructions for use for more detailed cleaning recommendations. If the inhaler is used by several people, each person must have his/her own spare set of accessories (nebulizer and accessories).
