Product description

IVES (Integrated Volitional Control Electrical Stimulator) is an easy-to-use electrical neurostimulator that stimulates paralysed areas of the body through the skin with electrodes attached to specific body sites. The device combines EMG signals and functional electrical stimulation (FES) to achieve functional results for muscle weakness and paralysis. It works by using a low-frequency electric current to help muscles contract and perform functional movements. Suitable for conditions such as spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, stroke. IVES is highly effective because it has an EMG feedback detection function that allows the electrical stimulation to be proportional to the EMG signals received. Lighter movements lead to less stimulation, more movements lead to stronger simulation. The six treatment modes integrated in the IVES+ GD-611 allow you to tailor the therapy to the different needs of your patients. Up to 45 therapeutic protocols can be stored. When the device is connected, all treatment modes and the patient’s treatment history, the number of stimulation repetitions and cumulative stimulation time are displayed.

Treatment regimes:

Power assist mode (autonomous movement + electrostimulation)

Electrical stimulation proportional to the EMG signal is delivered to the treated part of the body using real-time response. The magnitude of the force generated can be visually monitored with muscle action potential indicators.

External assistance mode

Electrical stimulation is applied in proportion to the EMG signal in the untreated part of the body. Stimulating the paralysed part of the body in proportion to the EMG signal in the healthy part of the body trains both sides. This mode requires a bipolar electrode cable (optional accessory).

Activation mode

When the EMG signal of the treated body part reaches a set threshold, electrical stimulation is delivered according to the set parameters.

External activation mode

When the action potential of the muscles in the untreated part of the body reaches a set threshold, the electrical stimulation is applied according to the set parameters. This mode requires a bipolar electrode cable (optional accessory).

Normal mode

Electrostimulation according to set parameters.

Sensor activation mode

The electrostimulation is started and stopped based on the response of the gait sensor. When the gait sensor detects that the patient’s heel has lifted off the floor, the stimulation shall be delivered according to the set parameters. This mode requires a gait sensor (optional accessory).
