Product description

INOGEN is a pioneer in the development of portable oxygen technology and its portable concentrators are recognised as the “Gold Standard”. They are among the smallest, lightest and quietest oxygen concentrators in the world.

Freedom and mobility

It is your freedom and freedom of movement that makes Inogen One® concentrators so special. You can use the Inogen One® oxygen concentrator by plugging it into the mains, a DC socket in your car, or by carrying it around with a rechargeable battery. The single battery included in the kit provides up to 6.5 hours of operation. A double battery is also available for up to 13 hours of operation. So go on, jump in the machine and get your scheduled jobs done or take a weekend trip to see the family. What’s more, take that long dream trip anywhere in the world. Inogen One® concentrators are suitable for air travel and are FAA approved for use on all commercial flights.

Oxygen supply system based on individual breathing

The Inogen One® G5 has six oxygen flow settings, from 1 to 6, which provide an unparalleled oxygen supply to suit your individual breathing. Inogen One® will sense the onset of inspiration and deliver oxygen at the exact moment you inhale. Inogen One® senses your breath and thus continues the oxygen supply. As your breathing rate changes, Inogen One® detects these changes and delivers oxygen when it is needed.

Audio and visual alarms in the event of respiratory failure

The Inogen One® provides audio and visual alerts if a person is not breathing for 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, the device’s auto-pulse mode will activate. If breathing is detected again, the device’s auto-pulse mode will switch off and oxygen will be supplied as normal.

Simple replacement of molecular filters

A molecular filter is a filter in an oxygen concentrator that separates nitrogen and oxygen molecules from ambient air like a sieve. Changing this filter is very simple and can be done by the patient. There is no need to take the oxygen concentrator to a service centre. This saves time and avoids the cost of refilling the filter.

“Bluetooth connectivity for parameter monitoring via the Inogen Connect app

The free Inogen Connect app is designed to allow you to monitor your hub’s settings, get important firmware updates, and easily view FAQs, troubleshooting tips, and the user guide. But more importantly, the app enables your Inogen One® supplier to remotely check the performance of your device and troubleshoot problems.

Convenient carrying bag

The carrying bag with handle and shoulder strap is designed for carrying the Inogen One® G5. The Inogen One® G5 can run on battery power while in the carrying bag.

24/7

Inogen One® concentrators are designed to be used 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The expected lifetime of the Inogen One® G5 oxygen system is 5 years, with the exception of the molecular filters, which have a lifetime of 1 year, and the batteries, which have an expected lifetime of 500 full charge/discharge cycles.
