Product description

Hot Stone Therapy is an increasingly popular way to combat muscle tension, fatigue and stress! It is mainly used in spas, physiotherapists’ and massage therapists’ offices, therapy centres and at home. During the therapy, stones heated to the right temperature are placed on specific areas of the body to provide relaxation and at the same time open the meridians (energy channels in the human body). As a result, the person calms down and relaxes and our body feels amazing!

Tips for using hot stones

  • Before the treatment, rinse all the stones and place them in a heater. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions – the temperature of the stones should be approximately 47 – 50°C.
  • Before use, lubricate the massage stones with oil (no excess oil).
  • The patient’s skin must also be covered with oil.
  • Avoid banging stone against stone and avoid metal tools when removing the heater (noise can disturb the patient’s relaxation).

Recommendations for stone care

  • After each use, rinse the stones with warm water and soap and then disinfect with an antibacterial agent.
  • After each day of use, place the basalt stones in a bowl with water and sea salt for about 20 minutes.
  • They also need to be dried and lubricated with a natural oil (e.g. olive oil), then wiped clean and stored in a special box designed for massage stones.

People with high blood pressure and circulatory problems should take special care during hot stone therapy. If you have any doubts about the suitability of the treatment, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
