The water used in cold baths is often very cold – between 4 and 10 °C. The water in ekettes is even colder, usually between 1 and 4 °C. When the water temperature is below 10 °C, it can be uncomfortable for the hips and soles of the feet. Avantopool neoprene socks protect your feet and make cold treatments safer and more enjoyable. The socks are made of neoprene, which is commonly used in water sports and diving clothing. Neoprene is a synthetically produced rubber material. It contains evenly distributed closed air bubbles which give the material its thermal insulation and elastic properties. The 2 mm thick high quality neoprene rubber is coated on both sides with a nylon knitted fabric, making it pleasant to the skin.
