Polarized light

BIOPTRON light is polarized: its waves move (vibrate) in parallel planes. Polarization is achieved using an advanced Brewster multilayer mirror system (named after the scientist who discovered this technology). The Brewster mirror helps to polarize the electromagnetic spectrum emitted by the BIOPTRON device. Linear polarization using reflection, as used in the BIOPTRON therapy system, is very effective, and the light emitted by BIOPTRON devices reaches a polarization degree of 95%.

Polychromatic light

Unlike a laser system, which is limited to a very narrow bandwidth, the BIOPTRON system covers a wide band. The wavelengths range from 480 to 3400 nm. This spectrum includes the visible light range and some infrared radiation. The BIOPTRON light does not contain ultraviolet (UV) radiation in the electromagnetic spectrum. And if there is no UV light, there is no risk of harmful UV radiation.

Incoherent light
