A versatile stethoscope for everyday clinical work

The Littmann Classic III is a high-sensitivity stethoscope designed for the assessment, monitoring, and diagnosis of a variety of patient conditions. It can listen to normal and abnormal body sounds and rhythms.
The stethoscope is suitable for use in adults and children. The manufacturer recommends it for non-intensive care settings - in the doctor's office, general practice, obstetrics and gynecology, outpatient clinics and emergency rooms.

Double-sided head with adjustable sensitivity membranes

The Littmann Classic III has a versatile, double-sided stainless steel head. Both sides use adjustable sensitivity membranes, making the stethoscope suitable for auscultation of both adults and children.
The adjustable sensitivity membranes allow you to listen to sounds of different frequencies by changing the pressure of the head against the skin. Light pressure allows you to hear lower frequency sounds, and harder pressure allows you to hear higher frequency sounds.
The small side of the head can also be used as a traditional bell - for this, the membrane must be removed and a special rim must be attached.

Convenient to use

The soft ear tips fit snugly around the ears, helping to ensure a good acoustic seal and comfortable use. The pressure of the ear tips can be individually adjusted by changing the position of the metal ear tubes.
The tubes are angled towards the ear canal. The ear tips fit tightly onto the tubes and are not easily removed for safety reasons.
The headgear reduces the unpleasant sensation of cold when touching the patient's skin.

Durable and easy-to-maintain construction

The new generation hose retains its shape and flexibility even when bent sharply. It is more resistant to skin oils and alcohol and less prone to staining.
The tube is made without natural rubber latex and phthalate plasticizers. The updated Classic III design is also designed to make the stethoscope easier to clean and maintain.
