Advanced home blood pressure measurement

A&D UA-1020 is an automatic upper arm blood pressure monitor designed to measure blood pressure and pulse and monitor changes in results.
The device features TriCheck™ three-measurement mode, MyPressure cuff inflation settings, 90-measurement memory, and the ability to view the average of total, morning, and evening measurements.
The UA-1020 also has indicators for IHB/AFib irregular heartbeat, improper cuff placement, and movement during measurement.

TriCheck™ three-measurement mode

When TriCheck™ mode is enabled, the device automatically takes three blood pressure measurements in a row, with a one-minute break between measurements.
After the third measurement is completed, the average of all three measurements is displayed on the screen and saved in the device's memory.

MyPressure – adjustable cuff inflation

The UA-1020 automatically selects the cuff inflation pressure, but the user can set a specific pressure if necessary.
Available settings:
• AUTO
• 180 mmHg
• 210 mmHg
• 240 mmHg
The set pressure function can be used to prevent automatic re-inflation of the cuff.

IHB/AFib irregular heartbeat indicator

If the device detects an irregular heart rhythm during measurement, the IHB/AFib symbol appears on the screen along with the measurement results.
If this indicator appears frequently, the manufacturer recommends consulting a doctor.

90 measurement memory

The A&D UA-1020 stores the last 90 measurements in memory.
The device allows you to view:
• the overall average of all saved measurements
• average of morning measurements
• average of evening measurements
• individual saved measurement results
Morning averages use measurements taken between 4:00 AM and 9:59 AM, and evening averages use measurements taken between 18:00 PM and 1:59 AM.

Indicators of correct measurement

The cuff misalignment indicator shows if the cuff is too loose during measurement.
The motion indicator warns if body or hand movement was detected during the measurement, which could affect the measurement result.

WHO blood pressure classification indicator

The integrated WHO blood pressure classification indicator helps you evaluate your blood pressure result according to the classification scale displayed on the screen.
The device measures and displays:
• systolic blood pressure
• diastolic blood pressure
• pulse rate

SmoothFit cuff 17-32 cm

The A&D UA-1020 comes with a SmoothFit cuff for upper arm circumferences of 17–32 cm.
The cuff is latex-free and metal-free. The manufacturer designed it for comfortable blood pressure measurement.

Battery or mains powered

The device can operate with 4 AA 1,5 V batteries or using a power adapter.
This kit includes a power adapter/cord, so the meter can be used when connected to the mains.
